easyJet to switch to online check-in only!
easyJet passengers will only be able to check-in online from 30 April, it has announced. The low-cost carrier’s airport desks will only open for baggage drop and with 80% of its check-in already done online the carrier hopes it will easily transfer others onto the service.
Flybe announces new ski routes
Flybe has announced it will operate Inverness-Geneva and Southampton-Grenoble flights this winter season. The carrier, which has put its winter 2013/14 schedule on sale, will also increase services on 10 ski routes from Birmingham, East Midlands, Exeter, Southampton, Isle of Man and Jersey while its flights from Exeter and Southampton to Alicante and Malaga will both increase to three times a week.
New boutique hotel for Las Vegas
A new boutique hotel is to open on the Las Vegas Strip under a partnership between Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Gansevoort Hotel Group and Victor Drai. The hotel, named Gansevoort Las Vegas, is to be built in the building that is currently Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Salloon (next to The Flamingo) and is due to open in early 2014.
